Rakesh Roy is the COO, Co-founder, and Director of Vedam Design, an ISO certified company offering comprehensive marine design, engineering, and technical consulting services globally. His leadership has been instrumental in building Vedam into a successful engineering firm

Roy has successfully led over 500 engineering projects across marine, shipbuilding, and offshore industries, managing international projects across South Korea, Japan, China, the Middle East, Europe, and Africa. 

His maritime expertise was developed during his tenure as a Naval Architect at OMCI (2005-2007), stationed at Hyundai Mipo Shipyard in Ulsan, South Korea, where he gained extensive experience in shipbuilding operations, quality control, and project management.
